The collection contains writings, reminiscences, research material and photographs of William P. Montgomery, journalist. The materials is arranged in two series. The first series, John Prather material, contains his memories and photographs of the John Prather story which he wrote for the El Paso Times in 1957 about the rancher who stood up to the US Army and refused to leave his land. These photographs were donated by Montgomery in 1984 in memory of Steele Jones, Vice President of Development...

Letters received by George Kirgo, the New York, New York, and New Haven, Connecticut bookseller, from poet Witter Bynner. Primarily typewritten with holograph additions, the letters concern book orders placed by Bynner. Several mention his interest in D. H. Lawrence and his progress on Journey with Genius. Arranged in chronological order.

Poet, author of more than twenty-five books, and resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, for forty-six years. The collection contains correspondence, prose and poetry manuscripts such as The Way of Life According to Laotzu, miscellaneous printed and ephemeral items, and extensive photographs including portraits by Ansel Adams, all of which primarily document Bynner's work from 1943 to 1963.

Woman’s Aladdin Club records

Abstract
The Woman’s Aladdin Club was formed in Canutillo Texas in 1913 and worked closely with the neighboring Crescent Club of Anthony in social, cultural, public service and philanthropic projects until dissolving in the 1990s. This collection of club records includes meeting minutes from the club’s founding to 1986, financial records, yearbooks and scrapbooks.
